THE SECOND YEAR OF THE INTERNATIONAL GSPORT LEAGUE OF UNIVERSITIES ALREADY KNOWS ITS WINNER!
GSPORT University League 2024 - a unique and revolutionary concept that connects not only gaming and sport, but also universities from all over the world.
While the gaming part tests the participants' strategic thinking and quick reflexes (CS 2 and EA FC), the sports part (obstacle course, futsal 4+1) focuses on physical and mental fitness and endurance. These two worlds are then linked by the teamwork of all students.
A total of 28 teams from 10 countries participated in the second season.
LET'S GET THE GAMERS MOVING
GAMING MOVES THE WORLD, WE MOVE GAMERS – this is our motto with which we are ready to break into the world.
With this vision in mind, my colleagues and I started thinking about how to motivate video game players to move.
And so, in cooperation with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University, the first idea was born to combine classic video game playing, state-of-the-art technology and easily measurable sports disciplines = GSPORT.
Players can measure themselves not only in the esports world, but also on sports grounds.
Every minute counts – sports preparation and regular physical exercise are prerequisites for success not only for esporters.
ESPORT GAMES + SPORTS DISCIPLINES
Physical education teachers, coaches and school principals have noticed (not only due to the coronavirus pandemic) a decrease in the current physical fitness of pupils, especially primary schools, but also secondary school and university students.
E4S gets students and pupils who like to play video games out of their chairs.
GSPORT leagues schools or tournaments that we have prepared under the auspices of FTVS will be a motivation for those who love ESPORTS and at the same time want to keep fit.
We have a package of sports disciplines for you, team sports that have a positive impact on the development of esports skills and at the same time measure your physical fitness with others.
GSPORT EVENTS ALSO FOR THE PUBLIC
We prepare matches, tournaments not only for schools, but also for friends, family or colleagues.
We will schedule esport matches for you online or face to face + the sports part always live.
